Orchestration tops the agenda as FS firms look to gain control over combined human and digital workforce

During the 2017 RPA & Artificial Intelligence for BFSI event it was clear to see that early adopters have proven the business case for RPA in Financial Services.

Enate was delighted to meet and greet a steady stream of attendees at our stand who were keen to speak to us about their experiences of RPA, particularly the challenges they’ve had along the way. In a truly orchestrated effort, we distributed a short survey in order to make this unique insight available to the masses. 

In our conversations, ‘making everything work together’ was identified as a top challenge, or, in other words, what we know as Robotic Service Orchestration is now becoming a ‘thing.’ Many attendees cited a lack of robust governance and control frameworks, and all agreed that a coherent approach to automation sequencing and prioritisation is paramount.

The results of the survey only work to back up this statement, with nearly 60% of respondents ‘totally relating’ to the statement that it is challenging to maintain insight and control over their combined human and digital workforce.
